About Janet's Antiques

Welcome to our store at Janet’s Antiques LLP in Madison, Wisconsin, and to our online store at http://www.janetsantiques.com. We are a family business of mother, Janet Holden Hoopes, and Elizabeth Jane Barber, daughter. We started this business in 1973 by doing antique shows. We soon had a small storefront, and then an old house, and now, by God’s grace, a beautiful new shop on University and Midvale in Madison. We love working together, love antiques and we enjoy the people who love them. Presently our shops include all decorative and fine arts from the 18th, 19th, and 20th Centuries, including Furniture, Glass and Art Glass, China, pottery and Art Pottery, Jewelry– modern and antique, Lighting, and Fine Art including bronzes, sculpture, paintings, prints, and Folk Art, and “whatever” appeals to us
